Krisztina Czika, Dissolve In Space

“Dissolve In Space” is a fifteen-minute long video documentation of an experiment by Krisztina Czika and Inge van Heerde. The collaborative project seeks for the limit of a body interacting with the material in time and space, displaying how Inge's body gradually becomes one with its surrounding. While Krisztina's machine is shooting and throwing paper pulp onto walls, Inge physically becomes part of this process. Keeping her body against the wall in an uncomfortable position until it is covered, generating material growth that fades her being into the background. It is a slow process portraying a serene and tense scene.
