Kaczmarek and van Boheemen are highly conscious of the human being’s connection to nature. The absurdity of how all-encompassing nature is, the undeniable fact that we are part of it, yet so often exempted from its processes and rhythms, are interesting observations made through their large scale photograph. The naked body portrayed is simultaneously swallowed up and discharged by a body of water, and the outline where the two bodies meet is the point of contact and boundary all at once.
